Bringing COREBOUND to Life Through Anime Commercials

One of the most recognizable aspects of classic Japanese franchises such as Pokémon, Medabots, Beyblade, and Digimon was their energetic television commercials. These short advertisements did far more than sell toys—they helped establish the identity of an entire universe. Every CoreBot had its own personality, signature abilities, visual language, and marketing style.

To explore how a modern franchise could achieve that same level of excitement, I created a series of fictional COREBOUND TV commercials. Rather than producing traditional product renders, I designed fully illustrated commercial key visuals that feel as though they were captured directly from an animated television advertisement.

Each promotional still is designed with animation in mind. Dynamic lighting, motion lines, layered UI graphics, packaging mockups, product callouts, and dramatic character poses all work together to create a composition that can be brought to life using AI-assisted animation tools. The result is a convincing "living advertisement" that captures the excitement of Saturday morning anime programming.

Every commercial is tailored to the identity of its featured CoreBot. Lynx Prime emphasizes speed, agility and electric energy through bright blue effects and heroic poses, while Noctrix leans into stealth, precision and shadow manipulation with darker colors, purple energy and a more mysterious visual tone. This consistent visual language strengthens the individuality of each character while reinforcing the overall COREBOUND brand.

This project combines concept art, product visualization, graphic design, motion design, worldbuilding and AI-assisted animation workflows into a single cohesive marketing experience. It demonstrates how a fictional IP can be presented with the same level of polish and personality as an established multimedia franchise, creating promotional material that feels immediately recognizable, collectible and ready for broadcast.
